Meet our Curators:

Juliet Haas is an award winning Fine Art Photographer and has been the Lead Producer of Open Show Sacramento since 2016. In 2019 she decided it was time to bring other great image makers from our local photographic community to join in producing events and co-curating the many projects being scheduled. Juliet's goal in creating Curate Sacramento is to fill a need for a home to highlight projects outside of her own fine art photography and Open Show Sacramento as well as building a home to showcase the Artists work we are privileged to see and share with you!

Steve Abbott Steve Abbott is a photographer based in Sacramento, CA who has always been intrigued by the history of things. His interest in vintage cameras and historic photographic processes is no exception and has led to experimentation with equipment and processes that date back as far as the middle of the 19th Century. Many of the cameras that he uses are of mid-20th Century vintage and take various film formats from 35mm up to 8x10. This, coupled with the use of expired film, gives much of his work a timeless feeling that leaves the viewer wondering in what era the photograph was created.
